Langtree Eco-Master Plan was designed to function as a integrated habitat and human environment. The site development incorporated ecosystem restoration for the reintroduction of species and to establish old growth forests into the site. Green infrastructure was coupled with stormwater management to create effective ways to control storm runoff while providing wildlife corridors. These measures set the foundation for the project to pursue a Platinum LEED for Neighborhood Development rating. All of the buildings on the site were designed for climate connectivity as well as other energy efficiency best practices.
