Birch Coffee - a Sustainable Community Hangout
Birch Coffee is the first LEED rated independently-owned coffee shop in New York City. The green design featured were decided to enhance the mission of Birch as a community-oriented, environmentally sound hub for socializing and entertainment.
Crossroads Fitness Center
Crossroads Fitness Center, in the historic town of Conway, South Carolina, was envisioned as new approach to fitness - the goal was to create a community center as well as shift the paradigm to more sustainable options for health and wellness. The team analyzed existing fitness centers to determine the best layouts for the highest effectiveness for the building. The sustainability plan included solar heated pools, photovoltaic panels, daylight and other green features.
Brier Creek Healthplex
Brier Creek Healthplex is Medical Office Building and Stand Alone Emergency Department in Raleigh, NC. Chambers Design coordinated all LEED credits, and played critical role in energy strategy for the project using performance metrics to identify the maximum savings available for project. It is a LEED Certified Rated Core and Shell Project.
